Radius of Gyration of Circle

On October 23, 2013 By Jalal Afsar In Mechanics

Radius of gyration of circle is the square root of the moment of inertia of that circular section divided by its area.

Mathematically circular radius of gyration can be easily found by using equation;

\(K=\sqrt{\frac{I}{A}}\)

….

\(K =\sqrt{\frac{ΠD^{4}/64}{ΠD^{2}/4}}\)

..
