Centroid of Cube

Cube is a 3-dimensional shape whose length of each side is “L’”. Centroid of cube lies at a distance L/2 from each face of the cube.

 

Example

Find the centroid of a cube whose length is 20cm.

Solution

 

X= Y = l/2 = 20/2 = 10 cm.
